How to Play Low Stakes Hold’Em

When starting out, most online poker players choose low stakes limit hold’em over the rest of the other poker variants. To play low stakes hold’em, a player must play it tight and use his brains. On the pre-flop, the player must raise only when he has big pocket pairs, A-K or A-Q. Fold anything else. On the flop, it is important to keep in mind what your opponents might be holding. In poker paranoia is an advantage. Stick to your instincts and you will succeed in this game.
