Ludus started on ClubGG as a single poker room. The idea was simple: a place for Heads-Up NLH and Omaha, mainly against European players.
A few months later, it looks very different.
The Ludus name now appears across several unions, each with its own player pool, traffic, games and stakes. Besides the Heads-Up tables that started it all, players can now find NLH, PLO4, PLO5, PLO6, MTTs, AoF and SnGs. Some unions also run leaderboards and Bad Beat Jackpots.
The player pools are much wider too. Depending on the room, you can end up playing against players from Europe, Asia, North America or South America.
That is the main thing to understand about Ludus Rooms on ClubGG: the name may be similar, but the games behind it are not. Each room gives access to a different union and a different type of action.
Below are the seven Ludus Rooms on ClubGG and what you can expect from each one.
Ludus Rooms on ClubGG: The 7 Options
Ludus
Union: Atamans Union
Game Types: NLH, PLO4, PLO5, Heads-Up
Stakes: Mid to High
ID: 676758
This is the original Ludus room and the one closest to how everything started. It is mainly European, with lower overall traffic than the larger unions.
Heads-Up action is still part of the mix, together with NLH and Omaha. There are also occasional leaderboards.
Ludus World
Union: All In Zone Union
Game Types: NLH, PLO4, PLO5, Heads-Up, MTT
Stakes: Low to Mid
ID: 760759
Ludus World sits inside a Ukrainian union that usually has around 10 to 15 active tables. Most of the traffic is Hold’em, with Omaha and tournament games around it.
VPN use and bumhunting are forbidden.
Ludus Taiwan
Union: Tiny Union
Game Types: NLH, AoF, SnG, MTT
Stakes: All Stakes
ID: 860968
Tiny Union is one of the biggest player pools in the Ludus network. Most players are from Taiwan, and there are often more than 50 active tables running.
For players looking for regular NLH action and plenty of tables to choose from, Ludus Taiwan is one of the easiest places to start.
Among the Ludus Rooms on ClubGG, this is one of the strongest options if table choice and steady traffic matter more to you than niche formats.
Ludus Coast
Union: Roller Coaster Union
Game Types: NLH, PLO4, PLO5, MTT
Stakes: Low to Mid
ID: 360268
Ludus Coast gives access to a mainly North American player pool. Traffic is strongest during US evening hours, especially around EST and PST, with more than 10 active tables at the better times.
The union also runs regular leaderboards and weekly bonuses. PLO4 is worth noting here. It still gets consistent action, while many other private pools have moved more heavily toward PLO5.
Ludus Latino
Union: Orion Union
Game Types: NLH, PLO5, MTT
Stakes: Low to Mid
ID: 230081
Orion is a busy Brazilian union with around 15 to 20 active tables through much of the day. Most of the games are lower stakes, with NLH, PLO5 and tournaments making up the main traffic.
Game security is worth watching in any private poker environment. Orion has a security team that monitors the games, and accounts confirmed to be breaking the rules can be removed.
Ludus Malaysia
Union: WinMax Union
Game Types: NLH, PLO5
Stakes: Low to Mid
ID: 168167
Ludus Malaysia started as more of a Heads-Up room for Malaysian players. The player pool has since become more international.
Today, most of the traffic comes from regular six-handed and eight-handed ring games.
The setup is simpler than some of the other Ludus Rooms on ClubGG: mainly NLH and PLO5, with the focus on regular cash tables rather than a long list of formats.
Ludus Hamaca
Union: Hamaca Union
Game Types: PLO5
Stakes: Mid to High
ID: 533575
Ludus Hamaca is the most specialized option on the list. The main game is five-card Omaha, played at mid and higher stakes against a largely Latin American player pool.
Many of the tables have players with very high VPIP, so the action can get loose. If PLO5 is your main game, this is one of the more focused Ludus Rooms on ClubGG.
Which Ludus Room Fits You?
There is no single best option for everyone.
If you want the original European setup and Heads-Up games, Ludus is the obvious starting point.
For the widest table selection, Ludus Taiwan stands out. Ludus Coast makes more sense if you play during North American evening hours, while Ludus Latino gives you access to a busy Brazilian player pool.
Ludus Malaysia is simpler and focused mostly on regular ring games. Ludus Hamaca is the specialist option for mid- and high-stakes PLO5.
Ludus World sits somewhere in the middle, with a broader mix of Hold’em, Omaha and tournaments.
That difference is what makes Ludus Rooms on ClubGG useful as a group. They share the Ludus name, but they do not share the same games, traffic or player pool.
Two players can join a Ludus room and have completely different experiences simply because they entered through different unions.
That is why the union matters more than the name alone.
How to Get Started
Before entering any room, make sure you are using the current version of the software.
On desktop, download the PC ClubGG version from official website. You can also download the ClubGG app through the App Store on iPhone or iPad.
Once the app is installed, use the ID of the Ludus room you want to enter and make sure it leads to the correct union. The room name alone is not enough, because every option gives access to a different player pool.
If you want to look beyond Ludus Rooms on ClubGG and compare more options on the platform, check the ClubGG Poker Clubs Directory.
Ludus started with one small Heads-Up room. It has now grown into several very different poker environments across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
The best one depends on three simple things: what you play, when you play and who you want to play against.
